A complete brand identity system built for NAND Research, a B2B technology research and advisory firm. The identity draws from the visual language of a NAND logic gate: the right-side D-shaped gate body and circular output node becoming the brand's core icon, connecting the mark directly to computing logic, data intelligence, and technical decision-making. The system extends across the full wordmark, icon library, service guides, white papers, and document templates through a sharp blue-to-violet technology palette.

The brand had to feel authoritative and modern without sacrificing personality, sharp enough for white papers and enterprise presentations, distinctive enough to stand out as an independent research voice.

Crafting the Solution
The NAND mark draws directly from the visual language of a NAND logic gate: the right side of the wordmark uses a D-shaped gate body with a small circular output node, the same form used in circuit diagrams to represent NAND gate output. This gives the icon a literal connection to computing logic and technical decision-making rather than relying on generic tech aesthetics. A blue-to-purple gradient adds energy without straying from the professional palette. From this central mark, REDXEL developed a full wordmark lockup, standalone icon, and a curated icon library for use across NAND's service guide, white paper, and document template systems.
